Bells & Whistles : Clutches & Sculptures

Design Studio Bells & Whistles is known for the amazing interiors inside San Diego hot spots Starlite, Aubergine and the recently opened Loft at UCSD. To keep their creative juices flowing in between design gigs, the trio has been crafting various clutches and desk sculptures, available through their Etsy account.

Distinction Gallery presents 'Infinity Squared'

Distinction Gallery's 2008 line up has set the standard for the greater San Diego area, and their final opening should polish off the year nicely.  Resident artist, Kelly Vivanco, curated Infinity Squared - a group show, featuring fifty 8 x 8 panels from a stacked line up.  The show opens Saturday, December 13th.

The Artists' reception will be held December 13th, from 6-11pm.

Longwave at the Casbah tonight

Longwave is coming to the Casbah tonight to promote their new record, Secrets are Sinister.  This video is a look into their recording process and you can hear more of the record on their Myspace page, or hear it live first tonight with A Beautiful Noise and Eulogies.

GOOD NEWS! Temporary Public Art in North Park



North Park artist Jessica Sledge has just finished a sculpture called"Good News"  with gold leaf and an old television.   It's located in the alley between Idaho St. and Utah St., just south of Polk Avenue and will be up as long as it can dodge alley cruisers and the city.  If you go to look for it, leave a comment below about what you found.
